Wine is normally delivered from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Most orders will be delivered to your door, however in rural or remote areas the delivery will be left at the nearest Australia Post office or freight depot.
If you are not at home at the time of delivery, an “Article Awaiting” card will be left in your mailbox. This card will advise the next steps required to obtain delivery of your order. Tower Estate will not deliver goods to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the goods.
Customers who are paying for their order by credit card, may request for their delivery to be left unattended, however, our carriers reserve the right to leave an article awaiting card regardless of this request. The following examples hightlight reasons where an article awaiting card my be left regardless of an authourity to leave request;
- There was no one in attendance and no clear delivery instruction authorising us to leave the parcel in a safe place.
- Somebody was home but they could not provide proof of age
- There was an authority to leave (an no one answered the door), but the driver was concerned that minors where present within the vicinity of the premises (e.g. children playing inside or outside the house).
A signature is required on all deliveries. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery the courier will leave a note for later collection by you from the nearest local Post Office. The person collecting the wines from the Post Office must be 18 or over and able to present identification corresponding to the name of the consignee. If the order is not collected within 10 working days, it will be returned to Tower Estate and NO refund will be available.
Orders will not be left unattended on the same day they are ordered under any circumstances.
Unattended delivery is only available for households who receive a daily roadside letter delivery from Australia Post.
We cannot guarantee or provide a day of the week or time of day for delivery.
Each order may only be sent to one delivery address. If you need to send products to more than one delivery address please place a separate order for each delivery address. Once an order has been completed you are not able to change the delivery address. Please contact our Customer Service Team and if the order has not been processed they may be able to update the delivery address for you.
