A delightful mix of spicy Shiraz and luscious Malbec. The silky smooth velvety tannins complement to abundant flavours of vanilla, blackberries, pepper and spice. Vibrant purple in colour, this wine has aromas of blueberries, mocha and cedar. Dry-grown on our Virgin Hills vineyard, the 50 y/o vines produce intense varietal characters along with long ageing potential. The ultra-cool climate adds amazing life to the wine as it opens up over time.

Located less than an hour from Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges have an altitude ranging from 300-800m, making it Australia’s coolest mainland wine region. Shaped largely by the altitude, the Macedon Ranges specialise in cool climate wines. These wines are highly perfume, light to medium bodied and tend to have a higher acidity. Macedon Ranges’ wines often have a fruity intensity and complexity.
