2020 MACEDON RANGES
PINOT NOIR
Exotic dark plums and cherries lead the nose of this cool climate wine with an elegant palate driven by plum characters and hints of spice. The acidity is exceptionally well balanced with the velvety soft tannins from ageing in French oak for 18 months.

REGION
Located less than an hour from Melbourne, the Macedon Ranges have an altitude ranging from 300-800m, making it Australia’s coolest mainland wine region. Shaped largely by the altitude, the Macedon Ranges specialise in cool climate wines. These wines are highly perfume, light to medium bodied and tend to have a higher acidity. Macedon Ranges’ wines often have a fruity intensity and complexity.
