REGION

Despite only being located a mere 15km from Adelaide, the region’s elevation is greater than 300m. The wines of Adelaide Hills are shaped by its altitude, large sections of the Adelaide Hills region specialise in cool climate wines. Cool climate wine varieties include Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. These elegant wines tend to have a higher acidity and light body. Adelaide Hills wines maintain a fruity intensity and complexity with an acid structure to age and evolve.
